Printed Folds

A 2014 series that reverses the usual order. Instead of folding white paper and lighting it, I printed the paper first, with red and black linework drawings, a photograph, only then folded it. The crease catches the imagery and bends it, so a line wraps around an edge and a printed picture breaks across the facets. Two years later these same forms came back digitally, recolored into the rainbow folds.
