Folded Light
A day spent photographing folded-paper structures one at a time against black, lighting each so the creases catch and the rest falls into shadow. Tessellated pleat fields, curved-crease tunnels, a short series in red, and a few free-standing sculptures.
The folds carry over from the earlier paper-engineering work; here the camera, not the crease pattern, is the point: how far a flat sheet of paper can be pushed before it reads as light instead of paper.
