Midnight Tools

A right-click toolkit for MIDI clips in Ableton Live. It reads a clip’s chords, or seeds a progression when the clip is empty, then lets you generate, vary, and reshape them with a live preview before anything touches the Set. Controls sit under three tabs (Generate, Variations, Feel) beside a live chord strip and a before/after piano roll. Audition the result through a built-in synth, the spacebar starting and stopping it, and apply only once it sounds right.

Built on the official Ableton Extensions SDK, MIT licensed, with five themes and a tight test suite. The first of the dnvsfn Ableton extensions.
